I would give 0 stars if possible. We stayed for 2 hours 20 min and coming back I was convinced it was a mistake when the machine tried to charge us £22.80!!! So I rang the assistance button and to my shock that was the correct price because it’s ‘banded’. So paid the price and vowed to never come back. To this car park. Or to Brighton for that matter. The prices are not listed big and obvious on entrance otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed. Nothing special about this car park either, narrow spaces and difficult to drive between levels and we don’t even have a big car. Never again. Shame on you Brighton.

£31 for 5 hours!!. Used to use this car park a lot but won't use at that price again

Convenient location, extremely overpriced. Narrow and steep entry and exit lanes, take care of your wheels and underside when entering and exiting

Electric car charging points squeezed in tiny corner. Small bays, you have to manoeuvre several times to turn up and down ramps. To top it off car park charges are complete rip off. I went to this car park after trying the regency square car park which had 4 non working charge points and tried to charge me £4.50 for spending nearly 40 mins trying to get different chargers to work.

Okay so I’m writing this as I have car park anxiety and I can’t be the only one! 1) if there is a queue down the road....don’t go there. The road only leads to the car park and chances are it’s full. Save yourself the wait!!! 2) it’s down a hill and underground. 3) there’s what looks like a barricade at the entrance - it will go up when you approach it it doesn’t mean it’s closed :) 4) you need to lean out of your window to collect a card so don’t drive in away from the machines! 5) the spaces are quite big and we had no troubles navigating one. 6) a lot of the spaces say reserved so don’t get too hopeful! 7) you don’t need to pay as you go do your thing - you pay when you’re actually leaving properly - so keep the ticket with you at all times. 8) for security - you need to scan your card to enter the car park. This doesn’t mean your parking is over though it’s just to keep it secure. 9) the pay machine takes card and has different languages :) I hope that helps out a little.

EXPENSIVE, SMALL PARKING BAYS, BUT WHAT CAN YOU DO IF YOU NEED TO PARK

Aug 29, 2017

Very bad car park, won't go there again. The entrance is so steep I scratched the front of my car even I was going really slow. The bays are narrow. The exit is very narrow too. The floor is wet, smells of urine. The car park is very dark, some parts are not lit at all, which makes it really scary. 8.40 GBP for 4 hours is way too expensive, considering the quality.

Nice little car park but very busy which suggested they may have pitched the tariff too low.

I didn't feel very comfortable when paying as there was three people just hanging around by the pay machines Nice big parking spaces and under cover would go there again

convenient and secure parking, but very pricy and does not accept card payments though the payment machine says cards accepted

Good locality for accessing the Brighton Lanes however it is expensive in comparison to nearby car parks. Very secure!
